SCHEDULE
1. The tournament will be hold in 79 Sants st, Barcelona
(Auditori del Centre Cívic de les Cotxeres de Sants). Swiss FIDE

Limit date is 08-26-2005 at 20h. (+1 GMT). 11. Missing of the 1st round without justification will be penalised with the expulsion from the tournament. This penalisation will be applied for those players who miss two rounds, too. Those players who have to miss a round must communicate it to arbiters during the previous round. 12. Prizes: Cash prizes will be delivered according with the final standings. Prizes aren't accumulables, execept age prizes ones, that can be accumulables with rating sections & generals. Age prizes can only be win according to age. For players distributions in different Rating sections, FIDE rating will be taken into account; otherwise, Catalan Rating, and finally FEDA rating. Local & National ratings will be validated by organization. Players can only win prizes available in their own Rating Section, can not apply for superior section prize. 13. Tie-Breacks: Blitz games (by KO) will be applied only for those players who are tied and with a chance of winning a prize. For the rest players and for the Blitz's ranking, the tie-breacks will be: -Median Bucholz FIDE Players who get achieve a prize both in final standing
and in his Rating Section must choose just one of them.Once the provisional
Final Standing is established, they must communicate to the organization
their choice; otherwise, it willl be supposed they choose for playing
their Rating Section. 14. The player who opts to Beauty Prize must give the game to the organization. 15. Tournament Director will be Mr. José Antonio Castillo. 16. Arbiter's decisions shall be appealed to Appeal Comitee. This Comitee will be consist of Tournament Director, Chief arbiter and three players chosen among total of participants. Comitee's decisions will be definetely and unappealed. 17. Tournament will valid for GM, IM-Norms and for FIDE, FEDA and FCE rating. 18. Any point unexpected in these rules, will be solved applying FIDE General Rules for open tournaments. 19. Take part in this tournament involves total aceptation of these rules. |
