Open: Spanish record with more than 600 participants
CHESS REACHES THE MAJORITY
In its opening day, the 12th
edition of International Sants Chess Open has beaten his
own record. If some time it was, here and now chess has
stopped being a smaller sport.

After 10 gripping competition days, the Israelian GM
Maxim Rodshtein gets the victory in the International
Sants Chess Open, which finishes today. The second
position has been for the Polish GM Tomasz Markowsky.
The Spanish FM
Orelvis Pérez Mitjans
has got an
outstanding third position.
-Secretariat d’Entitats de Sants Hostafrancs i la Bordeta, Catalunya Chess Club, La Cadena Chess Club, Comtal Chess Club and Barcelona City Hall, are the organizer of XI International Chess Open of Sants, Hostafrancs and Bordeta, for players with federative license.
-This tournament is valid for Catalan, Spanish and FIDE ratings. This Tournament is the last valid for the Grand Prix de Catalunya (Group A espezial).
